Just finished watching Battle: Los Angeles...
If aliens ever attack, we are fucked. The aliens in this movie used what looked like conventional ordinance; bullets, rockets, mortar etc. They had no body armor and were of an organic nature with no natural plating or protection other than something similar to our skin. SLO.
Well it took 5 years and 3 applications but I finally did it. I figure SLO just got tired of me applying and let me in so I would stop bothering them, that or the graduate coordinator thought my persistence (3 emails and 3 phone calls over 2 weeks) was worthy of SLO.
All in all today was probably the proudest day of my life, even more so than my graduation from SDSU. I don’t think anyone...
